Jesse Fleming is a trans-disciplinary and multisensory researcher and artists working at the intersection of designed perception, well-being, and Extended Realities. Fleming is the founding director of the Awareness-Based Design Lab (ABD) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Johnny Carson Center for Emerging Media Arts. ABD is an artist directed creative design, reasearch, and development lab focusing on tools, experiences, and artworks as vehicles for self awareness, discovery, and interconnection. Fleming is an award winning and internationally exhibited artist with work has shown at commercial galleries, public spaces, nonprofit galleries and cultural institutions. Fleming has a Master of Fine Arts from UCLA’s Design Media Arts Department and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the San Francisco Art Institute in New Genres.
