MuMu: Multispecies Multiplex

Is a virtual reality game that merges systems thinking and network science to tackle global challenges through immersive storytelling. The game's narrative unfolds around a robot farm interconnecting animals, plants, humans, and technology. Players assume various roles, from prairie dogs to robots to soil sensors, experiencing firsthand the consequences of their decisions on the ecosystem. Through this journey, they cultivate systems thinking skills and understand the intricate links between technology and health within a One Health framework.

Worlds of Connections is a University of Nebraska–Lincoln-led Science Education Partnership Award (SEPA) funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

We are interested to partner with scientists and engineers to communicate science through future game chapters.
